I’m part of the Triathlon Club at the University of Toronto. We are always looking for more members. I did an half Ironman, which consists of 1.9km swim, 90km bike, and 21km run. The whole thing took me under 6 hours to complete.
I ran the Scotiabank half marathon last year, and I broke my finger in the first kilometre of the run. I fell, got up, and realized my pinkie was swollen. The pain didn’t hit until I finished the marathon, and I had to go to the hospital afterwards. All I thought about during the marathon was how hard I trained for this, and there’s no way I’d quit because of a broken finger.
